I'm so happy you've stopped by my little corner of the swapping world!

I live in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, where I work part-time as a preschool teacher. I've always loved working with young children and seeing the world through their curious, imaginative eyes. These days, I'm also having a wonderful time exploring the creative possibilities of AI, learning how to make animated stories and music videos for little ones. Another dream of mine is to become a reading tutor so I can help children with dyslexia discover the joy of reading and feel proud of their accomplishments.

I'm a lifelong learner with a curious mind and probably far too many interests and hobbies! 😊 I love taking long walks, getting lost in a good book, exploring antique shops and bookstores, traveling, watching documentaries, researching family history, and spending entirely too much time adding beautiful things to my Pinterest boards! I've also fallen in love with mail art and enjoy discovering creative ways to make letters and envelopes extra special.

I'm a bit of an old-fashioned soul at heart. 💕 There's something about earlier times that I find endlessly charming, especially the years between 1900 and 1960. I adore vintage illustrations, old-fashioned Christmas cards, quaint little villages, historic buildings, classic cartoons, beautiful stationery, and almost anything that brings a touch of nostalgia.

And, of course, I absolutely LOVE postcards and happy mail!

To me, there's something magical about receiving a little piece of someone else's world in my mailbox. Whether it's a postcard showing a charming village halfway around the globe, a beautiful lighthouse, a vintage illustration, or a sweet little animal, each one feels like a tiny gift of friendship. I especially love postcards that share something about where you live, your everyday life, your favorite traditions, or a little bit of local history.

I'm also a huge fan of good old-fashioned snail mail! Pretty stationery, stickers, washi tape, rubber stamps, bookmarks, decorative envelopes, wax seals, and other little paper treasures always bring a smile to my face. I love the thoughtfulness and creativity that go into putting together a lovely swap.

Some of my favorite things in the world include Snoopy and the Peanuts gang, classic Disney, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera cartoons, The Little Prince, cats, bunnies, whales, teddy bears, flowers, butterflies, beautiful architecture, lighthouses, libraries, and BOOKS! 📚 I also have a special fondness for Halloween, Christmas, and all the cozy, nostalgic little traditions that make the changing seasons so wonderful.

I'm especially drawn to postcards featuring vintage and retro scenes, maps, city views, picturesque countryside, churches, museums, historical landmarks, beautiful landscapes, animals, old-fashioned travel posters, and anything connected with Brazil, a country very dear to my heart.

I do have a few swapping preferences: I'd rather not receive food or beverages (including tea and coffee), occult or horror/gore themes, political material, offensive imagery or language, advertising or free promotional cards. Otherwise, there are so many wonderful things that make me happy!

But more than anything, it's the kindness, thoughtfulness, and connection behind a swap that make it special to me.

I think it's rather lovely that, in this fast-paced digital world, there are still people who enjoy choosing a postcard, writing a few thoughtful words, adding a pretty stamp, and sending a little happiness through the mail. It's such a simple thing, yet it can brighten someone's entire day.
