I am 70, live in NC since 1982. Originally from Pittsburgh area. Steelers fan of course. I am a nurse in an ambulatory surgery center. Have done cardiovascular, orthopedics, ICU, OB and surgical units in the past.

Favorite Music.

Love most kinds of music. Partial to Oldies, Blues and Jazz . I love Brian Culbertson and Chris Botti. Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Clint Black, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Celtic Thunder, Ten Tenors, .I really enjoy listening to Spanish and Italian CDs. I don't speak either language but I love to listen to it.

Favorite Books I love all of Jane Austin. I really like to read historical fiction and even biographies. I like Stephen King ,Ann Rice .Murder mysteries . period pieces like Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. Some comedies. When I am not feeling well, a romance novel is an easy and quick read. You don't really have to concentrate on them too much.

Favorite Movies. Again, period piece movies, horror, mysteries, definitely comedies. Have recently started watching some action movies like Thor and X-men which I did enjoy. One of my favorite movies is "Purple Hearts". My fav horror movie is Ghost Story.

Favorite Television Most anything of the Food Network or the Cooking Channel. Favorite shows are Chopped and Iron Chef. Used to watch the travel channel a lot but I'm not too crazy about the programming as much. I do like Mike and Molly, Big Bang Theory. I really did like Two and a half Men but not so much now with Aston Kucher. I am not impressed.

Favorite Crafts Enjoy knitting, cross stitch and painting occasionally I used to sew a lot but it's actually a cheaper to just buy clothes. I used to sew special outfits and costumes for my daughter when she was little. I have 2 small grandchildren, Dylan 16 months and Jolie is just 5 weeks. I look forward to doing things for them. I am trying my hand at felting. Other I love to travel!! I have been on 35 cruises. My favorite trip was to the Galapagos . I loved my South America cruise as well. Went to Iceland last summer. Really beautiful place. Would go back in a heartbeat. My dream trip will be to Ireland but every thing else comes up instead.

Favorite Foods I will try almost anything.I really like Mexican, Oriental, Indian and Italian Of course American. Love seafood .

Teas I like most teas . I can't say I really hate any one specific tea as there are so many to try. I do really like Green teas esp Pomegranite and tropical blends. I prefer my tea iced without any sweetener. I do like hot tea with honey and lemon when I am not feeling well. Today I realized I DO NOT like jasmine or Chai spice teas!!!

I prefer my postcards naked.
