Too bad you don't live in Hawaii. My neighbor has a lychee tree so we usually get fresh lychee during the summer at least once and they sell them at most stores here in cans. Have you ever tried the lychee bites? It's a gel that you freeze and one of it's flavor is lychee and it's wonderful during the hot months! They even sell them at our Wal-Mart!
