life changes in an instant

9/18/08 Update: after our loss a month ago and our new 'baby' in the house life has been turned up side down again. Last weekend my 26 y/o nephew was robbed and murdered in our small Texas town. I have almost everything but I need to package and mail it...along with about 10 other swaps but with full time work and classes started again I am just reeling. I really plan on seting aside this weekend to package and everything for mailout Monday. so very sorry for the delay...again.....annette

sorry to have disappeared. this is the first time all week I've even thought of swaps. My brother and sister in law were killed last weekend in a car accident. she was 7 mths pregnant and they were able to save the baby but he is 2 hours away in the hospital. I have my swaps all done I just need to package and send them. I hope everyone will understand and be patient in this most difficult time. please pray fro all of us......annette

I love indie rock and folk music. LOVE Bela Fleck, grateful dead, Alison Kraus, and anything contempory chrisitan. I like all kinds of music except rap!! and of course I am a parrothead!!

Favorite Books

fav of all time??? To Kill A Mockingbird it's been so long since I read fiction. I love kid's books and really enjoy anything inspirtational. I love JOURNALS of any shape or kind!!! I love a poetry books and would love to start collecting them! I just love anything by SARK -just google her---you probably will too. the Succulent Wild Woman Book just makes me laugh no matter how many times I read it. It's liek reading someone's journals and I just adore the colors she uses...

About Me

I LOVE MOST...My babies, which aren't babies anymore. LOVE!! Grey's Anatomy and the Women's murder club...love House and Monk and ....my obsession: Law and Order...yes, it is an addiction.

Favorite Crafts

I am new to mail art..I love collages and water color, although I can't paint. I want to learn to make paper and stained glass but I am not sure when. I love anything 'altered' love the concept and love the materials.

Comment: Annette failed to come through with her committment even after I went above and beyond for her (made extra art journal for her at her request). Realized she has a death in the family ~ still 7 weeks later and promise unfulfilled. Where is your dignity Annette? This was my first (and definitely last) experience with Swap Bot. Both my partner and Swap host were stinkers so I am done!

I read that you are planning to mail out on Monday, so I will wait until next friday...9/26 to post a rating....to give you a chance to try to get those loose ends cleaned up. I see that you said you have everything pretty much ready to go, so a week to box up and mail should be fair? Right? Let me know? Communication will be helpful.
