About Me

Hi, I am Sam. I am have 3 children. I have a 19 year old boy and twin girls 15 years old. We have 2 Rabbits. The children and home take most of my energy but I love crafty things!!! I attend my local Baptist Church and am proud to say that Jesus is my Saviour ! I am a Christian....I also have a sense of humour and love to laugh and enjoy life.

Favorite Music

I listen to radio 2 most days. I like most stuff 80's to present. Nothing too heavy metal though. A bit of classical is cool. I do like christian contemporary music.

Favorite Books

I like historical romantic fiction. I used to read Cynthia Harrod Eagles Moorland Dynasty series up to no.23.I love looking at craft books new and old.

Favorite Movies

I like all sorts of films from weepies, chick flicks, Thriller or a good drama. I also like films based on true life. A few of my favourites : The BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Bridget Jones, Armagedon, Mama Mia, Chocolat.

Favorite Television

I like The Guardian, The Mentalist, Docu-Soaps - Police, Emergency, Gogglebox and Columbo.

Favorite Crafts

I dabble in a few things, specialist of none.....I started off card making, I love experimenting with acrylics, fibers, stickers, beads,freehand machine embroidery. I'm playing with atc's and bookmarks, book thongs, chams. I love recycling or upcycling items. Boxes, tins, books. I am new to sewing and making things with my sewing machine, and love crumb quilting and reusing denim.Would love to start an art journal.....altered book.....fabric book.....inchies....matchboxes.

  • Lace, any width, white or cream
  • Christian verses, cards
  • Tea, PG tips or fruit teas. Hot Chocolate.
  • Fudge, candy (not sour) and milk chocolate, turkish delight, star bar.....mmm

Things I am not keen on

-Skull and crossbones - beige! - Halloween - sour candy - big earings - orange chocolate

My Wishlist

  • A whimsey jar
  • a chunky page I haven't seen these for real so would love to see.
  • I am also interested in craft/scrapbooking/altered art magazines from other countries.
