Favorite Crafts

Crazy quilting which means EVERYTHING almost.
CQ alone means... quilting sewing beading jewelry making (metalwork) ribbonwork silk ribbon embroidery needle felting general hand embroidery machine embroidery

I am big on silk ribbon work and french ribbon work. Probably because I live in the desert or maybe because while I admire gardens I am not into dirt and bugs, lol.

I love jewelry making - much more into stones, metalwork, etc. Have daubled in beading even peyote but not my thing. Enjoy chainmaille also. Now know how to solder, enamel and several other metal alternating techniques.

Quilting - plain old fashioned quilts I love too. I think its the TEXTURE.

BIG THING - I LOVE TEXTURE - I think that is why I have so many interests and like CQ work because texture is big on those quilts (although you are not supposed to "touch" them).

Favorite Books

Currently an Evanovich fan!!! Love all craft related books

Favorite Television

decorating shows - decorating cents and such

mysteries like The Closer and NCIS

About Me

I am supposed to note that on my first swap I did mail it on the date specified - Dec. 10. But I didn't log in to note it until Dec. 13 - I thought I could note the date but swap-bot just marks it that day. Lesson learned, lol.

About Me

Favorite colors - hmm - I love colors so any color is good, but then again I like black and white and sepia. My favorite color is GREEN - not the "standard" green - more olive tones bordering into ocean greens or limes?

Family - big on my nieces and nephews ranging from 18 years to 18 months!
