I am enamored by family and local history. I am a genealogist, a writer and a fan of fiber arts.

I am learning again, and again that I am most happy when I have some project (creation) going on. So I am glad to have found a community to encourage and inspire me.

I enjoy American history as well as the history of art and religion. I love a good story and find it most valuable when you are getting it--first hand.

I love old photographs and memorabilia live black and whites and old things that used to be quite practical. I fancy jewelry--costume as well as ethnic.

If I had a mascot, he would be a proud peacock. Also I like elephants and owls

I'm going thru a faux fur phase my fav colors for now are purple, green, orange and silvery blue.

I don't have an appreciation for rainbows, hearts or pastels, but I like daisies--such a happy flower.

I garden and compost and make little quilts, pillows, dolls and sock monkeys (traditional and otherwise).
