About Me

Hi, I'm a high school reading teacher. I'm a runner and quilter.....I know they don't really go together. I grew up in small town northern Wisconsin and moved to Texas, big city Dallas, twenty some years ago.

I like funky stuff.....pretty eclectic type of person.

Favorite Music

I like most music except rap, screaming, and country. I really like R & B, jazz, and big band.

Favorite Books

John Sanford is my favorite author.....I've read all the "Prey" books. I'm usually reading books for school - I love teaching novels.

General like and dislikes

I love old things, solid colors, glass, textures, antiques, retro stuff, traditional values, a great sense of humor, and flowers. I don't like political correctness, pets, anything country, cutesy stuff, plastic, neon colors, or sports teams. I love jewelry /funky/silver, wire, no dangley earrings/no plastic. I also don't like people who think what they make/send is far superior to anyone elses......taste is a very relative thing.

Comment: Sorry it took awhile to rate. The card came postage due and I had to make a trip to the PO, which I wasn't able to do right away. There was 90cents postage due. The card is very cute and creative, but just for future reference, you can only send a flat card for the postcard rate. If there is any embellishment or attachments or extra thickness, then there is extra postage as it won't go thru the machines. But I did love the card. Thanks.
Response: I'm so sorry, that's the first time there's ever been postage due on one of the cards like that. I've sent several as do some of my quilting friends. I'll send you the 90 cents....again, I'm so sorry.
