Leviticus 17:11

for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.

I like this scripture because it shows Gods love for us. He has given us anything we could ever need. Even the animals of the land he gave to us and allows us to use those animals to give up in an alter for forgiveness ( Then of course the Ultimate sacrifice of Sending his Son Jesus to die for all of our sins ) <3

Exodus 2:3

But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

I love this scripture because it shows a mothers love and what type of things she would do to protect her child. <3 I couldn't imagine having to float my baby down a river not knowing what would happen to it... But she loved him so much she made a way for the baby to be cared for. And look what a Great man he turned out to be! =]

Genesis 1:27

So God created human beings in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

I love this Scripture, I love that God has loved us so much that He has created us in his Image. Out of all His creation he chose to make Humans like Him. I think that is just amazing! <3

Bible Study Group: Share an Encouraging Verse

Isaiah 40:31 has been one of my favorite verse of encouragement from the Bible. I've had to wait on many things from the Lord and hope that He will bless me with those things I want (and if not, he has something better in mind). This verse reminds me that if I wait (or hope -- as different versions read differently) upon the Lord, I will be strengthened.

Share an Encouraging Verse - Bible Study group

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." (Psalm 46:1-3)

This verse speaks greatly to me. It lets me know that God is always there for me no matter what. It lets me know that no matter what happens, God will always be there for me and get me through anything that happens good or bad.

Blessings,

Yvonne
