Autumn Challenge

This swap is all about autumn and the beauty that happens during this time of year. I’m listing 10 subjects that all relate to fall. Your goal is to photograph 4 of those subjects in a creative way and mail those printed photos to one partner.

What does “creative” mean for this swap?

For instance, one of the things that I like to do with taking photos is take the picture from an angle that isn’t typical. For instance, put my camera on the ground and tip it up to get the shot. Or do what so many times they tell us not to do – shoot a picture into the sun. It can make your subject become a really interesting shadow. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated, just use your imagination.

• Choose 4 of the following subjects to photograph
• Print all pictures on high quality paper.
• Mail to your partner.
• These must be photos you’ve taken within the last 12 months.

1. Autumn colored leaves (specifically close-ups).

2. Trees/bushes with changing leaf colors

3. A campfire

4. Rain related (ex: raincoats, umbrellas, galoshes, storms, lightening)

5. Art festival

6. Pumpkins/squash (any type of fall veggie)

7. Something you baked or found at a bakery that reminds you of autumn

8. Something you cooked or ate somewhere that reminds you of autumn

9. Vineyards

10. Sender’s choice (I can’t think of a 10th one so go for it as long as it’s somehow related to autumn!)
