Can I answer Twenty Questions #2

I received so much positive feedback about my first one, I thought I will do another.

I do not celebrate the holidays, but many of you do, so I am going to have this one swap cover the months of November and December and the send by date will kind of be late for one of my swaps. This way the letter can kind of have that time spread for those weeks many of you will be so busy. Fifteen days for this one and this one only.

This is a different question swap.

This will be by letter and not email.

So get your pens or pencils out and enjoy writing. You can do these in ink, pencil, and typewriter or printed off the computer. My hand writing is atrocious so my partner will, be blessed to get it printed off the computer.

Newbies are welcome to join, but I would like to see a well filled out profile. 4.95 rating or higher required.

Well filled out profile means to me, more than just your favorite colors and TV shows. It means file out several of the different subjects that are available for you to do.

No more than one recent no send. I figure if you are behind on swaps, joining this one will just put another load on your shoulders.

You can answer the questions, yes, no, not applicable and some will require more to answer as much as you want. But please, since some of us do not use curse words let’s keep the letters clean of them. I am firm about this. I have to add this, because the letters may get chatty.

You will have one partner.

You do not need to share names, but your first name, if you chose not to, many use the pet/children/friends/family names for passwords, so I will not require that. Some do not so if you chose to share their names go for it. There is one or two questions more that require a name in this one, please use only first names or initials if your are uncomfortable with that. Also you can add to those questions as to what makes them that way. Not required, but a pleasant addition.

There will be a twist to some of these questions. Some of the Yes and No questions have and added question for more information for us snoopy folks.

The letter must have a little introduction, like your first name and the area you live in, and the weather. This is part of the swap, so please do not forget it.

  1. What is your first name?

  2. Do you like it? If yes continue to 3a if no got to question 3b please.

  3. A. Why do you like it? 3. B why do you dislike it?

  4. What is your favorite color?

  5. What do you collect and if more than one thing what is your favorite collection?

  6. What your neighborhood like? Apartments, houses, mixed, semi safe, not safe at all? (There is no real safe areas anywhere anymore, so that is not an option)

  7. Do you like living where you do, either the neighborhood or the city or both.

  8. 8a if so why? 8b if not why?

  9. Do you ever make up songs and sing about weird things?

  10. How many pillows do you sleep with?

  11. Can you read music?

  12. Do you wear your jeans with heals, flip flops, tennis or nothing, gals?} do you wear your jeans with flip flops tennis or work boots , guys?)

  13. What are your two favorite natural sounds?

  14. Who is the funnest person you know? The one that you have an absolute blast with, not necessarily laughing with. First name only or nickname.

  15. Who is the funniest person you know? This means a person you personally know and giggle with. This could be the same as above. First name only or nickname.

  16. Do you keep a diary/journal just for you?

  17. Have you ever read someone else’s without them knowing about it?

  18. Do you like to dine out?

  19. If so, what is your favorite three places, if not, what is your favorite three things to eat at home?

  20. What is your favorite dessert and if you can, will you share the recipe please? (if it is like a store bought item, then you do not have to share a recipe)

Your letter can be just what the swap requires or have some cute things added on the paper or in the envy for your partner. But they are not required at all.

Like I said, if you want to, the letter can be printed by or typed. That way if you feel your handwriting is bad or you have cute printer paper you can go that route. You can do both or all three ways also if you want to.

You can have fifteen (15) days to write and send this letter. That way you can have some time to think about some answers if you want to. It can be as long as you like or as short as you like as long as it meets all the swap requirements, which I will list below, since the description is so long.

This is not necessarily a pen pal letter; it is just something I wanted to do different that the usual 50 – 100 email questions with 20 partners swaps.

Please have fun doing this swap.

  1. You have 15 days to send your letter, to your one partner.

  2. It can be hand written or typed or printed from the computer or as many different forms of the above as you want to.

  3. All 20 questions must be answered, as short or as long as you wish to answer, but there must be an answer. And you must have the introduction as posted above.

  4. Letters must be ‘G’ rated.

  5. Only the letter is required, you can add others goodies or decorate the letter if you wish, this is not required though.

  6. You can start your letter now and have it ready to send if you wish, except for the weather part.

  7. Please rate fairly and correctly.

  8. Have fun.

I will angel if need be, but I trust you all want to write this letter and would not flake. And anyone that knows my rules and tries to sneak in, I do protect my swappers, like a mother hen. Beware, I peck and will ban you.

I did mention the holidays and the many that will be busy, so if you want to, I did state this, go ahead and get the letter ready to send, except for the introduction part. That can be added on a separate sheet of paper this time. That way if you know the week it starts you will be busy, you will only have to write a few lines stuff the envelop and mail it off.

If you like to use the computer, and you do not know this, copy and paste the questions to your word program for easier answering.

I will check on the swap from time to time to answer any questions you may have.

I would love it if my swap partner hand wrote their responses!

mekho 11/16/2011 #

who do we send the letter to?

mekho 11/16/2011 #

will the recipient of my letter send their letter to me?

renmagpie 11/16/2011 #

I'm sorry but you have an individual who appears to be a minor in this swap. if she isn't, she is extraordinarily rude and nasty to many other swappers and I won't run the risk of being partnered with her, so I had to drop. :(

mekho 11/17/2011 #

can i send as soon as i get it finished?

fawnscrafts 11/19/2011 #

You can send as soon as you get your assigned partners. If there is questionable swappers, and I check before assigning partners. PM me with any name that needs my attention if you want to please. I should be home to assign and look at partners by the sign up date.

helen21 11/20/2011 #

I'd love to join this swap but I'm concerned reading the comment of bombardiette. Is there a person who possibly may rate unfairly etc in the swap?

Kims 11/21/2011 #

I feel the same as helen21^...?

fawnscrafts 11/21/2011 #

Well I can read what the senders like to rate before assigning partners.

I guess if you do not trust my reading skills then perhaps not joining is for you. It is a joke so please do not make it personal, please.

I will look into this carefully and if I feel someone would be an unfair rater I would have no qualms kicking her/him out of the swap.

I would rather lose that one swapper than take a chance on good swappers.

I know how it feel to be rated unfairly, I have been there two times now.

Kims 11/21/2011 #

Good enough for me. Im in :)

helen21 11/22/2011 #

Maybe asking bombardiette what/who she means might be more helpful.

Filpot 11/22/2011 #

IWith regard to question 6, I live in a place where people go away all day and don't even lock the door to their house. There are safe places and some of us are lucky enough to live in them!

I've done "questions" swaps before and have always found the responses from my partners lacked input (just answering "yes" or "no" even when the swap said not to), so I'm not joining this one, but I hope everyone who does join has fun!

fawnscrafts 11/22/2011 #

@Filpot this swap went off with a huge bang last time. I had one complaint about the responses, I try to ask questions that the responders like to share the answers and not be stingy.

There was not even one complainer, but for the one and then her partner did not understand English at the point and changed the answers to fulfill the swap, in the end all had fund according to the Pms I got.

fawnscrafts 11/22/2011 #

and if someone would pm me the name of the questionable swapper that would be a huge help

fawnscrafts 11/24/2011 #

I want to thank the newbies that did respect my rules for this swap. You got to stay in the swap. Others did not though.

And since all I could find was accusations about a no named user, with no way to check out what the questionable user do as far as ratings.

I have no idea how to find out what ratings any users leaves for others. If there is an easy way, I would appreciate it if someone would share it.

If someone is going to state there is a questionable swapper and then not at least PM the host, it makes me wonder if it is a game or what.

If by chance the questionable swapper is on the swap and you do not get the letter, then please PM me and rate that swapper a one.

If you send the letter per swap guidelines, not personal wishes, and do not get a five, then , please Pm me and I will see what can be done.

All that is required is a snail mail letter stating the weather and then answering the 20 questions.

How you receive it is not the issue and should not be a bases for rating down. I leave the sender the choice of how they want to send it, printed by hand, typewritten or computer printout, because frankly some handwriting is terrible and it should be near illegal to have to read it. ((Mine is who I am talking about))

Now that all of that is done.

Have fun and enjoy writing the letter and reading what you receive!

Did you already know this? Slope 2 is a game that I didn't like at first because I couldn't make it through the first challenges, but it seems like I want to conquer this game even more and I'm a fan by now. city of this game.
