Description:

This swap is for anything and everything having to do with punk. I'm a punk and it's my life so I thought this would be fun even for non punkers out there.You will chose five items from the list -

  • Band patch (profile based if possible)
  • 3 5x5 squares of punky material (plaid, animal print, etc.)
  • Punk documentary
  • Box of safety pins
  • Bottle-caps (twist off, not dented)
  • Book on punk
  • Other punk related patch
  • Punk Cd (bought or made yourself)
  • Stencil for making patches/shirts (bought or handmade)
  • Fabric markers
  • Plain shirt for stenciling (ask partners size)
  • Punk artwork (bought or handmade)
  • An actual photograph of a punk (that you took/someone else took)
  • A photo of a punk from a book
  • A punk themed postcard or card
  • Punk jewelry (spiked bracelets, arm cuffs, etc. check about pierced ears though)
  • Sewing needles
  • Plain waxed dental floss (for sewing on patches)
  • D-rings
  • O-rings
  • Leather scraps
  • Profile surprise
  • Fishnets (if you are a guy (or girl) and prefer not to get these please comment below)
  • Band/punk poster

I will be updating the list as I think of things so please re-read before the swap is over! Also if you have any ideas please PM me!

A nice thing but not required would be to send a list of your favorite bands along with your swap so your partner may possibly discover some new music!

I extended the send date in order for people to tailor their items to their partners profile and to be able to have time to make any handmade items. Any questions ask. Must have a 4.8 to join and completed 3 package swaps.

As soon as I saw this on the swap list I thought, "OH, F*** YEAH!!!!" What about stuff we can make or buy? ie Plaid cuffs, earrings, rings. Any list of bands??

As soon as I saw this on the list to the left, I thought, "OH F YEAH!!!" (I put 3 asterisks earlier, but even that was screened?!!)

What about things we can buy/make? ie Earrings, ear cuffs, bracelets, cuff bracelets, rings, hair clips?

For the punk jewelry it can be something you make but must be well made not just thrown together because even though it's punk we don't want any thing crappy. :) You can list favorite bands here if you would like.

Thanks, I have always aimed for quality (& quantity, when possible). It would suck to receive something crappy. I was hoping people could suggest music/bands. I'd like to learn about some new bands! Like the Phenomenauts.

Oh did you mean send a list of favorite bands with the swap? That would be a great idea! Also list fav.s in comments though in case your partner wants to end something geared toward that specific band.

Yeah, that sounds good! Idk if my music favorites really qualify as punk & my taste is all over the place... 80's punk. Tiger Army, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, The Sex Pistols... I don't know if Talking Heads, David Bowie, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, Echo & the Bunnymen, Modern English, Flesh for Lulu, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Morrissey, & The Smiths would count... Not even going to front---I like the fashion more than the sound. I'm more into 80's new wave.
