Description:

Hi!

For this swap you will send your partner one postcard of your choice. The postcard can be made or bought but it HAS TO show something about you! Please put some thought into the postcard you chose and why, and write why you chose that card on the back. You will also answer these questions, which will introduce you to your new penpal, who you should continue to write postcards to even after the swap is over (the idea of this swap is to give you 2 new postcard penpals).

  1. Your name

  2. Where you're from

  3. Some of your favorite things

  4. Your favorite place to spend time.

  5. Your address so your partner can write back to you.

This swap is international and open to anyone with a 4.8 rating or higher, with no no-sends in the past 6 months.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Since we only have one partner, how do get 2 new postcard penpals?(as per above - the idea of this swap is to give you 2 new postcard penpals). Do you mean each other?

fluffywelshsheep 01/14/2008 #

hiya josietai i think it is a typo :) linz

I think she means that you'll get a penpal out of the person you send to AND the person who sends to you.

hi everyone!

josietai - greyeyes was right. if you write back to the person who sends to you, and the person who you send to writes back, that's two new penpals. =)

Josietai 01/14/2008 #

Yeah...cool. I'm in.

So it also means we must include our own address in the postcard in order for that to happen!

BrooklynLove 01/15/2008 #

I totally overlooked that! Thanks! You must also include your address so your penpal can write back.

okay mny postcard is written and is ready to send :) i have also included my address just a tip for people put your address upside down or something so you wont get it returned to you. What i did what up it upside down and put a cross through it so it is still visible but it doesn't get the post office confused. Looking forward to other peoples postcards :)

When I put my return address on a postcard, I write it along the left edge of the postcard. Or, you can write it down the middle of the card, as a divider between your message and who you are sending the card to. That way there is no confusion for the post office people.Just a thought.

Hi, I mailed my postcard on Sat. night but didn't get to my computer until tonight. (Monday). Hope it gets to fluffywelshsheep quickly.

coolwicca 02/13/2008 #

OOPs. I actually sent my postcard to Weronika, not fluffywelshsheep. Weronika, I hope you got it by now. I have no idea how long it will take a postcard to go from Virginia, USA to your home. If you don't get it within a reasonable amount of time, please let me know. Thanks
