Description:

The main requirement for this swap is that you are thoughtful and imaginative. If you are the kind of swapper who leaves things until the last minute and throws random objects into an envelope this swap isn't for you.

I will give you a month to put together a box, fancy bag or basket full of "You" Something that sums you up and looks impressive for your partner.

In the parcel you should include items that reflect who you are and what you would like to share with your partner. If you are a crafter, make something beautiful. If you are a family orientated person make a mini scrapbook full of your favourite pictures. And this isn't limited to human babies, make one of your hubby, your furry babies, even a little pictorial family tree. If you love to cook, create an impressive way to display and send some of your favourite recipes, if you are arty why not paint a picture or a set of original watercolour notelets, if you are a very feminine person and you love your cosmetics send your partner a selection of your favourites. And why not include a sample bottle of your favourite perfume so they know what you smell like! Other gifts could include but are not limited to (the only limit is your imagination!)

Your favourite treats (Candy or Chocolate)

Postcards of your favorite animals, places or pieces of Art (With why you love them on the back)

Items that are unique to your town or country.

A copy of your favourite book, CD or DVD

The craft item you couldn't live without.

Sachets of your favourite teas, coffee or hot chocolate.

You get the idea? You are sharing a little part of who you are with a new friend.

Above all make it a good experience to open with a good, wide selection of gifts that reflect lots of different aspects of your life. Items like teabags and postcards are quite small and inexpensive so make sure to include some more substantial gifts too. You don't have to spend a fortune but don't skimp either. We all know in our hearts if we are short changing our partner.

I will check profiles for rating and comments as these are the best indication of how much effort and thought we usually put into a swap. Please don't be offended if I ban you. Its honestly not personal it probably means I can't tell what kind of partner you will be or you have worrying comments on your profile.

What an amazing idea for a swap :) I always give gifts that I'd like to receive myself, not something that I would think was rubbish or cheap! I hope I'm accepted into this swap :)
