Description:

A swap for a 10" Quilt block and 2 Cake layers 10"x10" square. Using at least 2 different color of fabrics create your block, then add 2 layer cakes. Use care when cutting your cake layers making sure they are a square block. Send all 3 pieces to you partner, the 10" quilt block and 2 cake layers. We can use these cake layers to make additional quilt blocks, make a border to enlarge our quilt block or add to our stash for future use.

The pattern for the block will be senders choice, we are all at different levels in our sewng abilities. As for color, if you have a preference, please post in the comments as you sign up. If no color is listed, then it is senders choice, but take time to read your partners profile, may help you to choose your colors or theme.

A rating of 4.5 or above to join. Will welcome newbies. I will Angel this swap if it is needed. If you're running late, let partner and me know, it might save you a place in the next swap. Things happen.

Fun is a requirement, let's get to swapping!

I would love to have blues and white please. Thank you!

I would love red and/or blue with cream/ecru. I like doing patriotic quilts for Quilts of Valor.....an organization that gives quilts to our recently wounded veterans. Thanks so much.

And are we doing 10" finished size blocks, or ten inch blocks including the seam allowances?

I would love black, white, and yellow.
