Complementary Colors Tip In #2

I thought it would be fun to do a series of tip in pages for the pairs of complementary colors. For this first one we will be doing orange and blue. The requirements will be the same for all three in the series so if you can start working on them now, should you so feel inclined. The other two sets of complementary colors are yellow and purple(done) and red and green

Requirements:

• the page should be at least close to 8 1/2" x 11"

• it should be mailed in a protective plastic sleeve inside a large flat envelope, to avoid folding, and should be on stiff paper or have a backing slid behind it to protect it in the mail

  -this page needs to be all oranges and blues. Although you may use as many shades of these colors as you like try not to stray into other colors to much. It is fine to utilize black, white, and grey.

• because it is a journaling page try to incorporate at least one word onto the page. You may absolutely do more though, perhaps an actual journal entry, or a favorite quote, a poem, etc. Words need not be written, they can be cut and pasted or stamped as long as it isn't an after thought and actually goes with the page :)

• send your partner something you would be excited to recieve!

If you're stuck for inspiration see if your local library has a copy of "Hailstones and Halibut Bones" This is a great book of poems about each color and has wonderful illustrations to go with each one.
