24 days of gifts advent calendar #38
Christmas is here soon! Or not. But December 1st isn't -that- far away (it never is!), and November and December are both busy and expensive, so having advent calendars ready is a good feeling, even when it's still months away =) And of course you are allowed to open your presents at any time you want, so if you are the type of person that just can't wait, you don't have to ;P
The rules are like last year, and the year before that: you will have 4 partners. To each of your partners you send 6 wrapped presents with ribbon on them so they are possible to hang somewhere, either a loop or two loose ends. This way you will have a gift to open every day until Christmas, from 4 different places in the world!
THIS SWAP IS THEMED! The theme is paper crafts, so all the gifts should be something to be used in any kind of paper crafts. Paper, rubber stamps, pens, tools, ribbon, buttons, brads, embellishments, the list can go on and on and on, use your creativity, feel free to shop in bulk and split packages/stacks in (or 5 if you want some for yourself ;P), but all items must be new.
The value of the gifts for this swap should be about 1$US per gift, some can be less and others more, but the total sum to spend on each partner is at least 6$.
You need a profile that is filled out with a long likes/wish list. This is what I call a "profile based senders choice swap", which means that everyone uses their brain and love for both Christmas, gifts and swapping when picking out stuff to send. I believe everyone wants to send something their partners will appreciate, and if you don't (and I think I speak for everyone here when saying this) you can stay away from Swap-bot in general. Remember that people can come back in December and change their ratings when the gifts are opened. But you are required to rate with a 5 as soon as you get your gifts in the mail, no matter when you are planning to open them!
New of this year is that many of these swaps will be hosted in a group called Advent lovers. Lots of seasoned swappers don't want to swap in public swaps at all, but still want to participate in these swaps. If you want to apply for membership in this group, go to Advent lovers
