Description:

This is a swap for ATCs about colored eggs. Some decorate eggs for Easter, some for Ostara, some for the celebration of spring, and some for no reason other than it's fun!

So, send 2 egg ATCs to each of your two partners depicting decorated eggs in any medium. (4 total ATCs)

Newbies welcome. New ATCers welcome. No no-receives without an explanation.

The send date is set up so that they should arrive before any egg decorating holiday your partner may celebrate if sent locally. If international, it could be a few days late, but still within the spring holiday season!

I'm brand new to Swap-bot, and I've finished my eggs. Please advise - do I upload a photo of them before mailing them to my partners? Do I post a note saying they've been mailed? Thanks in advance for your help. :) - Katherine (http://moonswings.wordpress.com)

I like to pm my recipient to let them know I've put mine in the mail (which I just did today, actually!) .. but a lot of people don't. Some people like the surprise of a package just showing up. I prefer open communication.

...don't know about the photo thing, myself.

When you are logged in there is an option in the yellow box above the swap that says "upload swap image." I've never done this myself since our scanner is hooked up to my husband's computer.

As far as letting people know, I'm sure many would welcome a little message in the comments here or on their profile. I generally don't and most don't for me. Though, I sometimes do this for bigger swaps.

Since they have the neat feature of seeing the send date on the list of participants, I just go to the "rate your partners" to see who is sending to me, then go check those names with the "view complete list" to see if they sent and if so, when. I usually do this if things are a big late just to see if it's been sent, just to make sure something isn't lost in the mail.

OOOh! Aren't you clever!! I never realized I could use the rate-your-partners that way! Thank you, Orcasong.
