Let's make and swap prayer bead bracelets! This is a great project for beginning as well as experienced jewelry makers, as most of the fun and work is tied up in choosing the beads.
So make your partner a prayer bracelet. When following a Buddhist tradition, the bracelets usually have 27 beads (so that four rounds of the bracelet add up to 108). Use beads that feel special to you - stone, wood, or some other natural, high quality material. Stones and colors are sender's choice (but feel free to personalize if you would like).
For great examples of handmade bracelets go to www.etsy.com and search "prayer bead bracelet."
