Description:

I love mega swaps! Twenty partners, twenty different ATCs back. It's postage-intensive, but lots of fun. Let's fill our mailboxes with Christmas cheer!

For this swap, make 20 ATCs on a Christmas theme. Send one to each of 20 partners. You have three weeks to send, cards absolutely MUST be sent by December 3rd.

THIS SWAP IS INTERNATIONAL so please be aware that it may be very postage intensive. I will be making a USA/Canada only version as well, and if anyone across the pond wants to do a European regional one, that's fine by me. The more the merrier!

RULES:

  • ATCs must be 2.5" by 3.5" and on sturdy paper, and not too thick to fit in a standard sleeve.

  • Do your best work. I know this is a lot of cards, but the swap is sender's choice to you can get started on them right away. No slap-dash glue, smudged stamps, or crooked/ragged edges. Stickers are fine IF they are not the white-edged older style and they are fully incorporated into the artwork.

  • No newbies, sorry, it's too big a swap. Must have at least 10 type 2 or 3 swaps completed and a minimum of 4.95 rating.

  • All glitter and embellishments must be secure; tap the edge of your card on a hard surface to test this. If glitter or other items come off, you need to seal it better.

  • Cards must be made by you, no re-trades for this swap please. (Re-traded cards as extras are allowed if you like though.)

  • Sender's choice, but reading profiles is always nice if you'd like to take the time to make special ones.

  • If you are participating in the USA/Canada swap as well, please make sure you create two sets of twenty (or forty different, etc) ATCs so that you don't accidentally send identical cards to someone. If you do get the same partner in both, it is absolutely fine if you want to send both swaps in one envelope to reduce postage just be sure you are clear in your note that you have done this, so there is no confusion.

  • Make sure your cards are sent in an envelope or sleeve to protect them, and be very certain you sign the backs with your username, real name, AND the name of the swap - as well as any other info you would like to include such as contact info, geographical location, techniques used, etc.

  • Please respect the fact that not everyone who celebrates Christmas is of the "Jesus is the reason for the season" mindset. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but for this swap I'd like to stay away from angels and the story of The Nativity. Feel free to start your own swap if you would like to create cards of this type. :)

I want to do this one more than the other. It is so much fun to get mail from other countries. I may do both. I certainly have enough supplies, lol.

OK. I give in. I'm joining the other one as well!

There are only 10 of us, bummer, but fun anyway.
