Description:

This is a swap intended for beaders who like to bead, but don't want to take on a large scale project that would take weeks to complete. Beaded rings are fun to make and you can use up some of those wonderful left-over Swarovski crystal beads from prior projects, semi-precious stones, pearls, and use up also some of those seedbeads to make a really nice bling ring or a nice cocktail rings in a varity of colors.

Maybe make one up in a birthstone colors, or colors of the current season. There are many free patterns on the internet and even bead-alongs on youtube that you can watch. I will provide some resources for you below:

You can go to beadifulnights channel on youtube. Aleisha has many beaded ring tutorials like for instance; elegant beaded ring, square dome ring, puffy beaded heart ring, chic beaded ring, shank button beaded ring, and the famous hugs and kisses ring.

There is also another channel called "Off the Beaded Path with Kelly Dale, and Beading4perfectionist with Giannea who has several beginner beaded rings that uses crystals, pearls, glass beads and seedbeads. There are plenty of bead-alongs available on the internet if you need ideas, examples, and designs to choose from. So get out those beads that are screaming at you to make them into fabulous beaded RINGS.

Important Note: Once you have been assigned a partner, please read their profile for any colors that they prefer and you should also contact them directly and introduce yourself and ask them for their ring size. You don't want to put all that work into the ring and then the person you made it for cannot wear it because its too small or too big. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime by e-mailing me at:

ok, I've done a lot of beaded stuff, but never tried a ring before. I'll try this!

Great, it should be fun. I've had a lot of leftover beads from previous beading projects and its a good way to use of those beads and make up for last minute gifts.
