Fascinated by mysterious creatures? A fan of Monster Quest or Unsolved Mysteries? Do you believe in the possibility of the true existance of these allusive animals? Love to create and receive gorgeous ATCs with other talented artists? If you answered Yes to any of these questions, then I want YOU in this swap!! This is the second swap of the series. Create an ATC featuring a Dragon. Any medium of your choice. If using digital image, add your own personal embellishments. Make a captivating ATC with a Dragon as the focal point. Standard ATC rules apply, including firm backing, info on back, protective sleeve, 2.5"X3.5". Rating is a REQUIREMENT for this swap. Show your belief in the mysterious by creating a beautiful ATC. Serious swappers only. Please have a well filled out profile. No recent 1's or 3's. I will be checking before assigning partners, and have the right to drop anyone who appears suspicious. If there is enough interest, I would love to continue the series. Other mysterious topics would include Sasquatch (thanks to @Doulakk for her Sasquatch Swap!), Chupacabra, Mothman, Skunk Ape, Abominable Snowman, Werewolves, Grassman, Phoenix, Jackalope, Fairies, Sprites, Mermaids, ...and any other suggestions! Come join the fun, and start your ATC collection of the world's mysterious creatures!

chupacabra? lol that would be hysterical to do. looking forward to your other swaps =o)

LOL! Any other legendary creature suggestions would be appreciated! I don't want to cross into the category of Mythical Creatures, so I may have to change some of my ideas..

Hmmm the only other Urban Legend type I know of is La Llorona - about a woman who drowned her kids and her ghost can be seen wandering near a river. Not sure if there is an American equivalent? I am sure there are a lot of local resident ghost legends LOL And growing up in a city the only thing we were told that was "out there" were the whole crocs in the sewers LOL

If they don't fit into this category I hope you do a separate series of Mythical Creatures: Greek, Roman, Norse, Native American. This is such a fun topic. Thanks again for hosting ;o)

I'm assuming you already did Nessie? Also the Japanese Tanuki ("reputed to be mischievous and jolly, a master of disguise and shapeshifting, but somewhat gullible and absentminded") reminds me of Coyote folklore. Here's a small list Ii found but you cover most of them already ;o) http://www.paranormal-encyclopedia.com/directory/creatures-monsters/

Thank you, @lunadelmar I will check it out!

Chupacabra would be fun! I learned about them when studying central american country's cultures so I could teach about them (teach about countries, not chupacabras) to some 1st graders in a homeschool co-op!

LOL @racheledj Teaching chupacabras to first graders would be interesting!

I just watched a show last night that featured Sheepsquatch! Found in Appalachia. America sure has some strange creatures!
