Description:

I'm just recently becoming mildly obsessed with teas. I'm learning so much about them, joining tea swaps to expand my tea horizons, but I have no special place to keep my teas!!! While browsing trying to find something cool to make to put them in, I thought, SWAP!! So, grab a box, new, vintage whatever!! Design a tea themed box just for them to keep their precious teas in. Nothing huge, but big enough to comfortably seat a decent number of little tea friends. (It doesn't have to have the little sections like the one pictured...a simple,re-vamped one from hobby lobby would be great!)

No Flakers, I will hunt you and eat you!

Newbies, please have a complete profile filled out or you will be cut, pronto!

Alright people! Let's get creative!

Shall we also fill them with teas? Or just the box?

For my partner, please don't make anything huge! I have very limited space, so something as small as a cigar box is big enough.

To my other partner--please let me know about size, I'll check your profile for preferences, too.

Great question! Let's leave it up to the person you send to. If they have a bunch of tea bags, they might not want a box filled with tea already. Let's say it's not required, but a few bags of their favorites for hearts!!

Is this US only? It would be pretty pricey to send international...

Duh...if I would have read the title...sorry...

i'd love a tea trunk (the one with sections). but anything is good. i always need something to store my teas!

another question: what should the box be made out of? can it be plastic? a tin? does it have to be wood?

no cardboard for me, please. don't want anything eatting their way into my tea storage.

As long as it's sturdy and durable, I don't see why it can't be anything else. Even a tin might be kinda cute unless your partner says nadda
