This group is also for other woodland creatures....so, let's make a raccoon atc for two partners!

Must be a realistic looking raccoon! Can be hand drawn only if you are an experienced artist.

Must have three layers other than the backing, even if hand drawn. Embellishments and techniques are considered layers.

Please use a backing out of light weight card board or poster board, not just a piece of cardstock.

Make something special for your partners (and yourself)!

Hi there. I'm really interested in doing these swaps, but tend to hand draw all my work. Collage just doesn't work for my brain. I'm a bit confused on the 3 layer requirement in hand drawn. if I'm hand drawing it, painted and then outlined, is this considered 3 layers? When I work in watercolor, there are tons of "layers" as I build up color, would that be considered layers? I just want to be sure I'm understanding so I don't disappoint my partner and receive a poor rating.

Hi ViridianMuse I also do a lot of painting etc. Often to fulfill the 3 layers, which means things such as background and embellishments I will paint the actual main 'character and use background paper to mount it on as well as lace, brads, buttons or such the qualify the layers. Hope this makes sense!
