This is really easy.

Take the book you are current reading (English only please), turn to page 49 and send a copy of it to your partners (photocopy or handwritten is fine, but if handwriting, make sure it is legible!).

Write on the page somewhere the title and author of the book.

You never know, after reading just one page, you may want to get a copy of the whole book.

Happy swapping.

No rating filters, but if you have any recent 1s, please let me know why.

Also, if you have not been on Swapbot in the week before the sign up date, you will be removed unless I have heard from you.

No flakers please. I will angel, if necessary. Just let me know if you didn't receive anything and rate your partner a 1.

If on page 49 are only the last lines of the chapter can I add a part from page 48, too?

what a cool idea for a swap!

tizzicat 09/19/2013 #

@ AnnSo - yes, that will be fine. Just put a note in to your partner to explain why.

I really enjoyed this swap last time, looking forward to doing it again :) Thanks

If my current book is on my ereader I can still send out a copy of page 49, right, no problem with that?

Pouffia 09/24/2013 #

Is it okay to send a few pages of an actual book?

tizzicat 09/27/2013 #

@ Pouffia. The idea is just to send one page, so the reader may be left happy that that's all there was or wanting to know what happens next. I don't really like the idea of real books being torn up. @tommythetoad If you can work out how to print page 49 on an e-reader, that is fine. You're obviously more up to date than me. I stick to real paper books!

Does this page need to be uncrinkled in an envelope or can we fold it up and send it?

tizzicat 09/28/2013 #

@ rabbitsdream. Folded is fine.

bethlems 09/30/2013 #

@pouffia I like the idea of sending the actual pages too!

What i did for E-Books is that i found Pg 49 in the dead tree version and then looked for the same text in the ebook version
