Description:

This year will be the last time for a long while that a date like “11.12.13” will be possible (using day-month-year order), so let’s have a swap commemorating that day!

This swap is similar to the one run by @VivaLaDiane but is for those that use day-month-year order on their postmarks. This is probably most countries outside of the US, with the possible exception of East Asia (who may use year-month-day order?).

This postmark should give the date as "11.12.13" in that order (or similar: 11-12-2013, 111213, etc.) -- if possible, not in a different format such as "11.XII.2013" or "11-DEC-2013" or "2013/12/13" or the like. The year may be "13" or "2013". Additional digits after the date (such as the hour) are OK.

If in doubt about your local postmark format, check with your post office or send yourself a postcard :) (But the exact format is not a requirement since I’ve seen different formats even from the same country, so it’s not always possible to predict what form it’ll take.)

You will have two partners and send each partner one postcard, for a total of two postcards.

The postcards should be sent and postmarked on Wednesday, the 11th of December only. Postcards postmarked on a different date may be rated a 3 -- please only join this swap if you are sure you can make it to a post office on that date.

If you can, ask the postal clerk to hand-cancel the stamp neatly, so that the date is clearly visible. This is not a requirement since not all places offer hand cancelling.

The postcards may be storebought or nicely handmade. No free or ad cards, please. Zazzle etc. are OK as long as they are good quality.

Send the postcard naked (written on and stamped) :) Include on it the swap name, your username, and a little note about yourself, your day, the postcard image, or related to December -- something more than just "hello, hope you like this postcard"!

I reserve the right to ban anyone for any reason. (Including, but not limited to, unresolved 1's.)

Comments welcome on this swap, preferably by PM.

I do agree VivaLadiane PNE is a great swapper and a great host. My only regret is that I dont live in a country that has that kind of postmark. But I will be in the USA one.
