Description:

I love having different calendars hanging up in my office.

And I thought it would be fun to enjoy the artwork of other Swap-bot members every time I look up to check the date!

So....

For this swap, make two calendar pages for your partners, one for January and one for February.

You can use any medium and technique that you like -- collage, drawing and painting, stamping, digital art, photography ...

Use either A4 or US letter (8.5 by 11 inches (216 mm x 279 mm) paper. I know that those aren't exactly the same, but since we'll have our calendar page for each month on a separate sheet, it won't matter if different months come out slightly differently.

Half of the page should be the actual 2015 January calendar, the other half is for your design. If you Google January 2015 calendar, you'll find lots of calendar pages that you can use for the date half of your page.

Print or mount it on sturdy thick paper or cardstock. Your partners are going to have this hanging up for an entire month -- make it strong so that it still looks good at the end of the month!

Post it in a sturdy envelope so that it survives the mailing process!

We'll do January and February in this swap -- I'll gradually post further swaps so that those of us who want can eventually do the whole calendar year.

So what does January make you think of? Snow and cold weather? Or if you're in Australia, sunshine and barbecues? New Year's resolutions? The Holiday Insights website has great lists of holidays -- both major ones and wacky ones.

Have fun with this swap, and make something that you're proud of and that your partners will enjoy having on their wall!

This swap is open to swappers with ratings of 4.98 and above. New swappers with three completed and rated swaps and a fully filled out profile are welcome.
