Description:

"M.I." stands for "mutual interest". This is a swap for everyone who has photography as a hobby and likes to talk about it and exchange photos with pen pals. Only join if you really want to engage in improving and having fun together, for example by agreeing to go out and take photos of your city, a forest, etc., and exchange the photos. You can share tips, ideas, magazine clippins, anythingt that real photography lovers would do. Please note: you must have the time to take photos and the money to have them professionally printed! Otherwise this swap is pointless! (You don't have to be a professional, but you do have to put effort in taking pretty or interesting photos.)

Of course the subjects to write about do not limit themselves to photos. This is just a regular pen pal swap for people with a mutual interest.

For this swap we get two swap partners and we send each:

  • 1 letter of at least 1 sheet (8.3 x 11.7 inch, back and front) long. (Or 2 sheets of 5.8 x 8.3 inch, back and front.) Typed or handwritten, both is fine. Write a bit about yourself and about photography, for example what kind of photography is your favorite, or what's you'd like to achieve, or if you're plotting a photography spree, or anything else you can think of.

  • 2 of your favorite photos, professionally printed.

Unrated swappers with an elaborate profile are welcome. Swappers with a rating of 4.95 and up are welcome (also with an elaborate profile). No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. I ban at my discretion.

This swap is part of a series of M.I. swaps, namely the following:

If you are into Analog photography, and develop/print in a darkroom do they still need to be professionally printed?

Pouffia 12/ 9/2014 #

No that's fine.

art3osb 12/14/2014 #

I think receiving those types of photos would be neat. I would enjoy antalog photography.

SarahRed 02/ 9/2015 #

So, can you do this with poloroids?

Pouffia 02/11/2015 #

No, not with polaroids.

Krystalk 02/21/2015 #
