Hello everyone! Assalamu alaikum (peace and blessings of God be upon you). I am Muslim as many of you know and we have entered the holy month of Ramadan. At the end we celebrate wth Eid Al Fitr. You can find general info about Islamic holidays at this link: http://islam.about.com/od/holidays/f/holidays.htm .

For this swap there are two portions:

Ramadan

You will send your partner 3 recipes which you enjoy on holidays. (Please no pork recipes as it is not permissible in Islam nor alcoholic recipes).

Eid Al Fitr

You will send your partner 5 items valued at $1-$2 each. You can wrap them or bag them as you please. It should be at least wrapped in tissue paper or placed in a bag where the contents becomes a surprise. Also, you should enclose a greeting card with a sweet message.

Ideas of what to send are: brooches, bracelets, lotion, hair accessories, brush, comb, stationery, handkerchief, body oil, coin purse, cosmetic bag, tea (at least 10 sachets/bags), halal or kosher candy or snacks, profile items, or ask your partner their desires and likes.

I hope to have some positive responses and people who join with an open heart and mind. It is good to learn about other religions! You may even make a new friend in the process!

This sounds like a really interesting swap! Just a note- you marked this as a Type 1 swap instead of Type 3. :)
