Everyone's (hopefully got issues they are passionate about. Social grace dictates that you don't preach to everyone you meet, but wouldn't it be nice if you could just let it all out...all those facts you've spent hours researching, all the fierce arguements you've got for why everyone should adopt your (clearly very logical) way of thinking on whatever subject it happens to be, and not have to worry about coming off as a pushy, overly-opinionated blow-hard? Now's your chance! Choose your issue and prepare your passionate presentation. At the VERY minimum you should write a detailed letter clarifying your stance on the issue, but you are encouraged to supplement it with other items or use an alternative method (or methods) of presenting your ideas...brochures, fact sheets, a film, or get creative...a painting, a collage, a Power Point presentation, whatever you want! As long as you clearly relay what your topic and your position on it is you can add any other objects you'd like to represent how you feel on the issue and educate someone else about it. Please keep in mind that there is a chance you could get a soapbox letter that is the exact opposite about how you feel on the subject. That's fine! This isn't about finding someone who thinks the same way as you OR someone who has different views. It's about seeing what sparks people's passions and having a chance to share your own with someone who may not have ever looked into the details of the subject. Please do not sign up for this swap if you think you may be offended by someone else's views and please do try and not hold someone's differing opinion against them.
This is an international swap. As I'm still fairly new to hosting swaps, no newbies for this one and no people with a bunch of low ratings. Thanks in advance for taking part in what I think can be a really interesting swap!
