Journals can be bought or hand-made. They should be good quality, and no smaller than A5 format. Put the swap name and your screen name to the front. For 30 different days, add a song lyric to the journal to represent that day - these can be representative of the day for different reasons e.g it represents your mood that day, it can be connected to something that happened that day, it's a new song you discovered that day etc. Add in a little note to your partner about why you chose the song - this can be just a couple of sentences or you may want to talk more about your day, up to you. Make sure you add in the day's date and the title and artist of the song each day.

Do decorate the journal a little to make it fun to look at. It doesn't have to be anything super artistic, perhaps use some washi, stickers and/ or stamps to brighten it up a little. :)

When you have finished your journal at the end off the month, put it an an envelope and mail it off to your partner.
