Description:

Drawing is so much fun, but it's also very intimidating. You might think you can't draw or your work isn't good enough. This series is about drawing for your own pleasure. To enjoy the feeling of pencil or paint on paper. You work in your own sketchbook, for you to keep. And if you do feel confident about your drawings you are welcome too! This series is for everybody who likes to draw and paint or want to learn how to draw or paint without pressure. There is no good or wrong, beauty or ugly. We'll be drawing for the love of drawing, not for the love of the result.

In this session we focus on figure drawing. in this blogpost you can read all about it. I think the drawing over images will not be to hard for those who never draw human before and a good exercise for those with experience. Maybe after a few times drawing over a picture you feel confident enough to draw 1 yourself. Figure drawing is the basic of drawing people. When you know how to do this it will be much easier to draw people.

For the swap you will email your partner a picture of your drawing.

A few extra notes for this series: ✏️ You don't need an actual sketchbook, use any paper you like. ✏️ I will use several drawing and journaling books to get ideas for this swap. ✏️ You can use all other tutorials you can find. ✏️ If the assignment tells you to use a certain media you don't own, feel free to use something else that might do the trick as well. ✏️ Your drawing doesn't have to be good!
