i'm new to swapbot and don't know how i get a partner lol help?

HI textdrivebys- the website swap bot takes care of everything. it is so easy. you just have to watch the deadlines and the cost to mail the package. the website will even send ou e mail reminders. it is very well thought out. thank you for joining the dandy candy swap. this is my first time hosting a swap. that too is very easy. have fun.

I am so glad it worked for you. I am quite disapppointed though with other swap participants. People can be so rude.

I sent mine but its going to France so im not sure how long it will take. I do know the postage cost more than the candy.

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for not updating before. I did in fact send my end. It was sent late and I apologize for that but it was sent. I sent on Monday the 19th and it's going to England so it's going to be ahwile. Just as with bohochic, the postage was more than the candy lol but I think I did a good job picking out candies.

Okay weird. Today i got home and the box that I sent was sitting at my door. It says No Postage on it in big letters. However, there is postage on it. I took it to the PO since it was overseas. This is like the third time in a week I've gotten packages back saying this. I will be re-sending Monday. I will post then when it goes out again. Is it possible to get a type of delivery confirmation for international mail?

Ectasia, it is possible to have a delivery confirmation for international shipping. I don't know the cost but in France it's around 1.30 euros ( 2 $). Try to know it at your post office :) Hope that your next postage will be Ok.

Thank you Myrtille! I'll ask them about that. I actually called them today and they said that as long as I bring along the box (I have to repackage because they wrote in huge letters in marker) and show them that the postage was on it, they would cover the charge. Yay!

i am glad things are starting to work out for a few of you. Frankly I am quite discouraged and disgusted with the whole swap thing. I send out packages and get nothing in return. Plus if people do get your swap they never acknowledge it, there is no closure on the whole process. I doubt I will do this again.

and I still have not received my candy package. I am sad about that.

I know Myrtille, to be a bit crude, people suck. and to say you sent something and not to is really just a bunch of bull^&)(/ you know. I am sorry. I thought the candy swap would be fun and I was really looking forward to the whole thing. as I said before ,I am done with this nonsense.

as i wrote on 06/21 my package was sent to France and i guess it hasnt yet arrived. I contacted the partner but she didnt respond except to ask someone else to swap with her (see above) I didnt send it special delivery but it was sent and as it was it cost a fortune. Why are you not taking this into consideration. as i said in my email it was full of canadian goodies. Give me a break.

Sorry Imthenana, but I have receive any e-mail from you. Be sure that I'll give an anwer or stand few bit. I know that airmail cost airmail cost is very expensive and can take many long time but I know also that many bad swapper on Swap-bot especially when her/his partner live overseas. Usually I saw the feedback by others partner from a swap and If I saw an average more 4, I know that my partner are great and I stand 2/3 weeks after wrote something, but it wasn't your situation so i'm asking if my pkg wasn't send.
