Description:

I love doing things in sets, series, and collections. So for this swap we are going to create a set, series, or collection for our partner. Our collection needs to contain 10-12 pieces.

Size requirements - Each piece needs to be at least ATC size (2.5 by 3.5 inches). You can make ATCs, tags, postcards, index or rolodex cards, playing cards, or just heavy paper cut to a size of your choice, as long as it meets size requirements.

What kinds of collections to make? This is where you can get really creative and basically the sky is the limit. Some ideas are signs of the zodiac, months of the year, your top 10 favorite foods, 10 different animals or flowers, 10 Zentangle-Inspired Art pieces, 10 shades of blue, 10 postal themed pieces, 12 things that show who you are, 1 thing made using 10 different mediums, etc. Like I said the choices are endless.

How to create your pieces - Your pieces have to have some cohesion, so that they obviously look like a collection when held next to each other. The mediums you use are up to you. You can draw, paint, doodle, collage, pastel, color, whichever way you choose.

This swap is a good way to get some practice in with a medium you'd like to try more. For example, if you've been wanting to watercolor more, why not try out doing 10-12 different watercolor flowers? You do not have to be an amazing artist to join this swap, just have fun with it and let your creative mind run wild! Feel free to post more ideas in the comments below for types of collections people could make.
