For those of you who have a list of crafts and hobbies you've always wanted to try. Here's what you do.
Make a list of ten projects you're interested in trying and post them in the comments section. ie Pysanky eggs, polymer clay canes, quilting, etc. Your partner will pick one of your projects and put together a crafting kit for you. The kit will include materials and tools specific to the craft. Keep the list to crafts that can be completed without heavy machinery, unless you already own the machine. Not many can afford to mail a welding machine or sewing machine! Because of the variety of crafts that will be picked, I'll leave out the monetary amount. The tools can be gently used (like an extra crochet needle) but the materials should be new. Please put together a package that will make your partner smile.
Because I would like everyone to get the very best package, without fear of postage, this is a US only swap. Feel free to copy this for an international swap. Newbies are welcome, but need to fill out their profile and have a legit webpage or e-mail. Those with low ratings (less than 4) or a history of no sends will be taken on a case by case basis.
Update March 7th : I forgot to include the most obvious requirement.... Directions. These can be hand written, typed, or a book (if you're nice).
