Description:

Who else (besides me) wants to get a jump on making holiday cards?! If you enjoy making cards, let’s trade our handmade holiday cards in JULY!

For this swap, everyone will make ONE blank handmade card and pair it with a decorative envelope (meaning it can be a store-bought or handmade envelope, but please make sure it fits and goes with your card—in other words, you should be able to tell by color, pattern, etc. that it’s a holiday envelope intended to hold the card you’ve made). Get as festive as you like with both card and envelope! Make sure your holiday card is at least A1 or 4-bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"). Otherwise, it can be any shape and size you like.

Leave both card and envelope blank so the recipient can use it to send/give to someone else during the holiday season. Only ONE handmade card is needed to meet swap requirements. Let’s inspire each other to get going on our Christmas card making NOW! (:

Please remember to:

(1) Write your AND your partner's Swap-bot names/IDs PLUS the swap name (“Christmas Card in July”) somewhere on the outside envelope/mailer (Feel free to also include this info somewhere on the inside of your mailer, as well).

(2) Send your item to your assigned partner on/before the deadline.

(3) Rate your partner as soon as you get your item. (An item that meets swap requirements should be rated a “5,” even if you can’t use it/don’t like it.) BE KIND!

If you do not receive your item, please try contacting your partner (via DM or email, if provided). If this results in a dead end or you experience other difficulties with the swap, please contact me (via DM or email: pam at pamwinters.com). While I sincerely hope that everyone gets their item and loves it, things do happen, and I will try to facilitate a solution as best I can. That said, I cannot promise to angel for missing items or items that do not meet swap requirements as listed above.

HAVE FUN! HAPPY SWAPPING!

I've updated the swap to make it a bit more straightforward (I hope!). Thanks (:

I am hesitant to join this international swap as my items that I have sent overseas lately have taken more than a couple of months to arrive and I have sent directly from the Post Office. This has made me make the item twice, gotten annoying (not nasty) messages, and has made me a wreck as I always send my swaps on time. It's not fun to swap when you are worrying all the time if your handmade swap has arrived. sorry, didn't mean to rant, especially when I love to see the items from Europe.
