Description:

Forget re-gift, let's re-thrift! If you are like me and love to thrift, you probably have amassed enough goodies to open your own store. Many times I find myself unable to resist wonderful vintage items "just because". I don't necessarily have a clear use for them and they may not even really be "me", but nonetheless they make their way into my basket and then into my home where they inevitably find a little corner to quietly tuck themselves away into. Feeling a bit guilty I have ultimately decided to free these items from their lonely existence (stashed away in drawers & boxes) and pass them on to more deserving homes where they might find their glory.

What to send? Any thrift store find(s) you don't mind mailing (possibly internationally should you be paired with a partner out of your home country) that is/are not torn, soiled, broken or in otherwise unusable condition. Only vintage/retro or very, very unique/charming newer items please. The "Golden Rule of Swapping" as I've coined it applies: Please send only items you would like to receive yourself. You will have one swap partner who may be domestic or international.
Value? $15-$20 in thrift speak/pricing In other words, items should be valued using thrift store pricing as a guideline, not antique or regular retail prices. You can always go over the $ limit, should you so choose, but please never shortchange your swap partner. Important Dates to Remember:
Last Day to Signup or Drop: June 10th Last Day to Send Your Items (this is the day your package should be postmarked by): June 30th
Miscellaneous Tidbits: This will be an ongoing swap I plan on hosting monthly via swap-bot. Please do not sign up if you have a feedback rating of "1". I will exercise my right as swap hostess to remove all swappers with a 1 rating. Sorry, but let's face it...no one wants to risk swapping with someone who has a track record of not reciprocating.
