Description:

A Lucky Parcel is a smallish, but very nice n' sweet parcel of small and cute goodies from one partner to another, usually with a theme.

STUFF THAT EGG - A Lucky Parcel Swap - Spring/Easter Theme

In this swap, we will be purchasing one of the large eggs with a clear lid and colored bottom half from either Dollar Tree or another store then filling it with lovely Spring/Easter goodies.

Example of the egg needed for the parcel is HERE. These are about 7 to 7.75 inches in length, but you are welcome to use slightly larger if you want. I know I have seen some similar ones at craft stores but I am unsure of the sizes. Edit: DO NOT use the Dollar Tree eggs with the GOLD bottoms, they are smaller around 5in.

I thought these would make super cute lucky parcels for us to enjoy and get us excited for Spring! There are all sorts of sweet items to stuff these eggs with all around. Please be sure to only include new, unused, and unbroken items and everything must be packaged nicely inside the egg. Please send a variety of items, not a ton of the same things. There is no monetary amount set for this, but please only send what you would like to receive. We want our partners to gasp at the wonderful lucky parcel you have put together for them!

You can get started now because the egg part of the swap is sender's choice.

We are also sending each other a couple of profile surprises in addition to the stuffed egg. :)

Examples of what to include inside the egg:

  • Washi roll(s)

  • Sticker sheet (can be cut up to fit as long as the stickers are intact)

  • Sticky notes

  • Cute tiny figures

  • Lip balm or other small beauty items

  • Charms

  • Ribbon

  • Cute paper clips

  • Tea or other small drink packet

  • Buttons

  • Tags

  • Die cuts

  • Other small stationary items

  • Tea lights (max of 2) in a Springy scent (put in tiny bag so the scent doesn't overwhelm package if you send this item)

  • Tiny nicely handmade items

  • Coin purse

  • Tiny hard candies (do not fill egg with a lot of candy though! 2-4 pieces works fine, no chocolate as it could melt)

  • Small piece of jewelry, like a brooch or ring

  • Button pins

  • Small rubber stamp

Haha, I tried to list anything I could think of to give you plenty of ideas! What a long list! lol I really hope that helps. :)

Now, for the rules and REQUIREMENTS:

  • STUFF THAT EGG - the egg must be completely full but still able to close. When closed it shouldn't rattle too much.

  • Remember to include 2 different profile surprises outside of the egg.

  • The stuffed egg must be shipped inside a box and secured so nothing becomes broken.

  • HAVE FUN!!!!

Added the Q&A below to my original swap so adding them here too! :)

ATTENTION- I have had someone ask me a couple of good questions about the swap:

Question 1: Is it okay if the egg rattles a little bit? Answer: Yes! The egg is an odd shape so every little nook n' cranny won't be stuffed, so it WILL rattle some, but nothing should be loosely shaking all over the place. It is okay if there is a little space left.

Questions 2: Is it okay if I use some Easter grass in the bottom for decoration? Answer: Absolutely! Just use it very sparingly, I used some in mine as well!

Question 3: Is it okay to include other items not in the suggestions list? Answer: Of course! Pretty much anything Spring/Easter related, including related colors, related themes, related body care needs, all sorts of things can go into the eggs!! Don't worry too much! :)

I hope that helps everyone out especially those thinking of joining!
