Edited down to 2 swap partners, instead of 3.

Here's another round of this washi swap that I hosted back in February. I think it's so fun to send/receive tapes from all over the world, and I always look forward when partners are assigned to see where I'll be sending/receiving from. :)

Using small "snippets" of your different tapes, you are to totally cover the front side of 2 plain envelopes. Covering the back side is optional. These will become the mailing envelopes for this swap. You can either leave an area to write the address, or you can use a label over your tape (If you choose the label method, you will want to cover it with clear tape.) You may use any size envelope to start with; the bigger the envelope, the more tapes you'll be able to show off. ;)

Any kind or brand of tape may be used, with one exception: NO duct tape.

Inside each envelope, please include a little note with your swap-bot ID, along with 4-5 samples of washi tapes for your partners to play with. Please give about 20 inches (50.8 cm) per tape sample and wrap it on a shiny surface that will allow it to peel off easily. Playing cards work well. (I tend to wrap 9 times around a standard size playing card.)

Note: I found that some of my tape snippets wanted to peel up on the envelope, so I ended up putting some clear tape on some of the ends to keep them in place.

I hope lots of folks will come on out and have fun showing off their tapes. We all have lots of tapes of our own, and most likely, tons of samples we've received in our all swapping! :)

HAVE FUN!

P.S. This is one of those swaps that we can start prepping beforehand if we want to.

You know, I did this before, and thought I would have no patience with this snippet envies you have to make for this swap. I'm not into mail art. Well, I'm into washi and really enjoyed doing this swap. It's fun and love it.!!

@HelenG6 I'm glad you had fun with this swap. Your snippets don't have to be tiny. I make mine about 2 to 3 inches, and then fill in gaps with the tiny pieces. :)
