Description:

I have hosted some Round Robin Journal swaps, that are only open to "experienced" swappers, with great ratings, and have been contacted by some newbies, asking if they could join. I've told them to find a few quick swaps, get some good ratings, and they would be most welcome. Well, there just aren't that many "quickies that are open to the newbies, and ...well. I remember when I was one myself...

SOOOOO... this is open to EVERYONE! Even experienced swappers - - Getting a couple "5 s" is good for anyone)

NEWBIES: I have been checking profiles, and want to send you a huge THANK YOU! Maybe you've read my own profile, to learn this - most of my swaps are open to newbies, with only ONE rule: You must have a complete and detailed profile - ,,,I have always said - "when I open your page, I should have to scroll down to read it! - -good work, you guys! and welcome to swapbot! I hope you have lots of FUN, and make lots of wonderful swapping friends!

Swap Details:

You will have TWO partners. (That means you will get TWO ratings)

Send FOUR blank note-cards with envelopes, to each of your partners.

(That's eight note-cards total, which is usually one packet of notecards from the store.)

NOTE to international swappers - It may be different in your country, but "notecards are folded cards, with a picture or design on the front (facing) side. Please keep to this. You CAN send a decorated cardstock, that is blank inside, folded to fit an envelope

. Notecards can be all different, or all the same...Sender's choice.

This is a FAST swap (one week from signup to mailing!). So get your notecards in a mailing envie, even weigh it, and put your return address on it.

Remember, this is an international swap, so wait on the postage, because it might be going overseas.

Swap partners will be assigned right after the signup deadline, so all you will have to do is address your envelopes, attach the proper postage, and drop it in the mail. Be sure to click the SENT link, on this page.

As soon as you receive your swap, please remember to rate your partner - there might be some newbies who are eagerly waiting for that number after their names.

HOW DO I EARN A HEART? Good question - a heart means you have done something extra, above and beyond the requirements for the swap. It could mean including some stickers, or sending five or six notecards, or writing a nice note about yourself
Hearts are not really "EARNED". It is always the recipient's choice.

Be sure to include your own name, the name of the swap, your swapping ID, as well as the date the swap was mailed - lots of us use nicknames, here, and may be in more than one swap of the same "type", so please help us out here. We want to be able to thank you!

Have FUN with this, and good luck!

Any questions, please just ask, or message me

happy Swapping!

Hi, so, I'm obviously a newbie to swapbot, but not to snailmail. I never swapped just postcards before, so I went to different stores today, searching for folded cards. I only have one-sided cards. They only sell them seperately instead of in a package... And it is too expensive to buy 8 single cards (and they are those cards for special events). Long stoy short, is it alright if I send one-sided cards?

you could get a couple sheets of "scrapbook paper" (places like Walmart, Michaels, etc. and a box of envelopes, then fold the paper to fit. that would not be too expensive. (if you mean by "one-sided cards, the same as "postcards, then no, because they do not come with an envelope. If you want a postcard swap, I am hosting a "poetry on a postcard" swap, you can check it out, if you'd like.
