Gear Up, Wrimos!

September will be here before we know it, wrimos! And September is the start of NaNo prep season. But right now is when you can take advantage of all those back-to-school sales! So, let's gear up with everything a writer might need.

You'll send your partner a minimum of five (5) items and something to put/store gear in. Examples are limitless. You can use your partner's profile for suggestions. Here's a short list of possible items:

• flash drive

• journal/notebook

• pens, pencils, markers, highlighters

• official NaNo gear

• comfy socks

• music

• books, magazines about writing

• office supplies

• flair (pin-back buttons, mascot, etc.)

• handmade craftiness a writer might enjoy/need

• mug, cup or glass for coffee/tea/libations

• framed inspirational art or quotes

• Starbucks gift card

• etc.

All five of whatever you choose should go inside (or accompany) a bag, box, tote, backpack or some other carrier of necessities.

This swap is posted early (Aug. 6) and as a reward for committed swappers who join and see the swap through, I have a surprise: The first three swappers to sign up will get an extra little goodie from me! Once you join, you have to stay until partners are assigned, otherwise you could lose your Top 3 spot!
