Description:

I used to love this swap idea, but haven't seen any posted lately, so thought I would go ahead and post one myself! These will be a monthly series, as I really enjoy making these.

Look through any magazines, catalogs, free newspapers, etc and find a picture that will fit on a postcard (at least 4x6). Cut the picture out and paste it onto a piece of cardboard. (I like to use old cereal boxes, but I've heard that you can use cardstock too.) Feel free to embellish your picture, but make sure you use flat items like stickers or other paper so that it won't get stuck in the postal machines. When partners are assigned, send to your partner with a short note on the back.

Your card should be sent naked (stamped, written on, no envelope). This swap is sender's choice, but feel free to check your partners profile for ideas!

Note on postcard size: Postcard should be at least 4x6, if you make it larger, it may require additional postage.

Be sure to include your swap-bot id and name of swap so you can get rated. Please rate when you receive your postcard. You can not rate down if you don't like it.

This is a super-duper easy swap, so I'm going to allow Newbies. I will angel if needed (after you have tried to communicate with your partner and a 1 has been given), but please don't let that happen!

Would it be ok to laminate it to make sure it sticks?

@rogo09 Yes, but that does take away from the 'cut and paste' theme of this. It's just supposed to be cut out and pasted onto the cardboard. It's best to be sure to use a good heavy duty glue.
