This is my first time coordinating a swap, so we are keeping it simple! I recently purchased a zine on Etsy where someone published excerpts from their dream journal, so cute and whimsical. (https://www.etsy.com/listing/551776914/dream-machine-mini-zine-dreams-zine)
-Create a zine using a single piece of 8.5x11 paper. (Be aware of margins!)
-Any style: minimal, hand drawn, computer designed, cut and paste, etc.
-Theme: Dreams! Recent dreams, past dreams, funny/silly/sad/scary dreams. Long details, small blurbs. Several dreams, one dream. Just share a dream you had while sleeping! (No dreams as in goals or ambitions 😛 ). This is a Type 3 because you should put some time and thought into designing this. Make something you would be so excited to receive! Also, if you do a scary dream, make sure you are not super graphic. Please keep it pg.
-You will have 1 partner. Mail your zine to them with a nice little letter/card. Include the swap name and your ID. You can mail a copy of your zine or your original. Totally up to you. Feel free to even share the file with them via email. However, you MUST mail a physical copy and a letter.
I will check every profile before assigning partners. Please have a well filled out profile. Everyone must have completed at least three Type 2 swaps and one Type 3. Only those with 5 ratings are allowed. I will be VERY careful about who is allowed to join since this is my first time coordinating. I want it to go well. :)
I will angel with a copy of my zine if you do not receive one. Just make sure you have given your partner adequate time and attempted to contacted them if flaking happens. Once you rate them a 1, I'll send the zine your way!
If you receive a zine and a small letter, rate a 5. Is it amazzzzine?? Heart it!
Happy dreams and zine making!
