This will be a month-long project. I’ve been trying to meditate more. I’d like to give it a try for a whole month. So, to challenge myself, I’ve decided to create a swap.

During the month of July, participants will plan to meditate everyday. You can use a timer, App like Insight Timer or Calm. There are several free Apps out there. You can mediate for any amount of time you chose...1, 5, 10 minutes or more. Or, make it a goal to build time during the month.

You could also consider using a 30-day meditation challenge. A quick search lead me to find several of these. I won’t post them here because they are readily searchable. PM if you have a question or want help find a resource.

I plan to keep a brief journal of my experience. This is not a requirement, just a suggestion. The journal or notes you make will help you with the last part of this swap, or what you’ll be required to send your partner.

At the end of the month, you will send your partner any notecard in which you share your experience during the month.

You might consider sharing on the following...What did I like best about meditating this month? What would I do differently? Will I continue to meditate? Why or why not? What did I learn about myself? Please share several sentences about your experience. If you would like to share more, like a letter, that is sender’s choice.

I’ll be reviewing profiles before assigning partners and reserve the right to limit participation to make this a safe and successful swap. I will angel if needed.

I try to meditate and do yoga for at least an hour every day. Insight Timer is an amazing tool to help with meditation. I use it to help me fall asleep too.
