For this swap, you will send your partner a book-related postcard with "literary wisdom" written or printed on it. I'm not just talking about any ol' quote from a book, but a quote from any fictional or poetic work that enlightens, inspires, or shows us the way.
Please note--the quote may not come from sacred texts, such as the Bible, Qur'an, Torah, Pali Canon, etc. Those books are filled with wisdom and enlightenment. It may not come from self-help or self-improvement books. The quote must come from a creative work--poetry, novels, short fiction, etc.
The literary wisdom does not have to be professionally printed on the front of the postcard. Any store-bought book-related postcard may be used. However, if you are sending a card that does not have a "pre-printed" literary messages, you must share the wisdom as part of the message you write on the back.
The postcard must be store-bought and should be sent naked, unless you fear its mutilation through postal travel.
Be sure to review your partner's profile for preferences and add a personal touch to the message on back. Don't just drop a quote on the back and leave it at that. Also, say "Hi!" and tell your partner where the quote comes from--title and author.
In short, one store-bought, book related postcard to one partner that shares literary wisdom.
