Description:

I sometimes wonder if anyone uses cursive handwriting these days. Schools don't teach it anymore and it has become quite the topic in the media questioning its relevancy.

My unpopular opinion would be that even though modern tech doesn't leave much room for the need of this skill, it still is pretty to look at and we do need to sign checks once in a while! :P

Happy to continue this series on! :)

  • @SeleneW is hosting the INTL version!**

If you are a stationery connoisseur like myself, you may find yourself pining away after fancy letter sets :) They're just so cute and posh!

For this swap, we will be writing a letter to 1 partner on a letter set. To be considered a letter set, there must be a matching sheet of paper with an envelope. Can be more than one sheet, but minimum one.

Please choose at least 3 of the following topics to write about in your letter:

  • what are your intentions for this great year 2020?

  • if you were trying to convince someone to learn cursive, how would you persuade them to?

  • what helps you decompress after a long day?

  • ____________ is the best medicine! [and why?]

  • What are 5 things you have gratitude for today?

  • What cheers you up when you are down?

The fine details of this, that, and the other etc:

  • one partner!

  • 4.95+ rating

  • no 1s/3s unexplained

  • USA only

  • letter set with AT LEAST one sheet of matching paper

  • minimum of 25 type 2 / 3 swaps completed

Last time I joined a similar swap I was absolutely shamed by my partner for my cursive style. The year I learned cursive in school was the flippant years “italic cursive” was being taught which is different than standard cursive. I’d love to join if others would be accepting of italic cursive too?

I'd love to have you as a partner no matter which cursive you wrote in :)

Heh, I need to get back to hosting the INTL version. I wonder what number I left off at. Hmm
