Description:

Used postage stamps can be used for a lot of different crafts. I use them in my junk journals, smashbooks, and collages. They are just fun to use.

For this swap you will have 1 partner

You will send your partner 30 cancelled stamps. ((off paper please)) They can be senders choice, new or old or a mix of both.

These should be off paper please! Decent shape, not missing corners or ripped. :)

From USPS site:

How to Remove Used Stamps from an Envelope

  1. DON’T PEEL THEM! Cut or tear the envelope around the stamps.

  2. Float the stamps face up in cool water. Soak for one hour or until the stamps separate from the paper. Then rinse the stamps to remove any leftover adhesive.

  3. Lay the stamps face down on white paper towels. Cover with more paper and press flat under something heavy (like books) for several hours until dry. (Use plastic to protect books.)

===============================================

Will give plenty of time to send if you need to take your stamps off of paper. Please PM me with any questions, this is US only but feel free to make an Int one.

Dont forget the swap name and your ID.

Thanks everyone!

I've had luck with hot water too. The newer ones are harder to remove I have noticed.
