Description:

Hi everyone!

I love the "Playlist & a Postcard" series--shoutout to TrishaLSmith for hosting those!

But sometimes, I really wish I had more room to write about my playlist. I.e., I think it would be fun to both give a list and then write about what I like about each song, why it fits the theme (if it's not obvious), any fun facts I know about the song/artist, etc.

So let's try doing just that! My suggested theme is: "Good Morning"

You can take that literally, as in songs about morning, or you might take it more figuratively, as in songs about new beginnings or songs that make you feel happy and positive about the day. Or both! It's open for interpretation.

In your letter, you should include:
1. A list of at least 10 songs that fit the "Good Morning" theme (more is okay, but no more than 20)
2. More detailed commentary/explanation on at least 5 of the songs in your playlist. This can be a single sentence or you can wax poetic. But please say more than "good song."

Ideally, 1 and 2 should be separate sections, so those wanting to clearly read off the playlist can do so without hunting through the commentary. But label the commentary clearly, too.

Optional:
-write out or copy/paste the URL to your playlist on Spotify or your choice of music/streaming platforms
-any profile-based extras
-decorating the envelope

This should be flat mail--maybe 2-3 pages, depending on whether you handwrite or type, your font choice or handwriting size, etc. But I'm hoping we can keep it under an ounce and therefore leave this open internationally.

If you're in the US and your partner is international, I can tell you you'll either need a global forever stamp or 3 USA forever stamps. Otherwise, I can't help much, except I know Pirate Ship has great rates, especially if you go over an ounce.

(Please PM me if you'd like a US-Only version of this swap. I'll make one if there are at least a couple of people interested.)

I think that's everything! Ah, and yes--this is open to newbies with filled-out profiles and I will angel if necessary.

Don't forget to rate your partner and have fun! :)
