Pretty Writing on Pretty Paper #11

One of the reasons I love to write letters is the feel of the pen in my hand and the satisfying feeling of writing on beautiful paper. I love to pour my heart into a letter, writing in the flourishing cursive that so many people are beginning to forget. Receiving letters of the same quality is like receiving a little present from the writer.

Let's go back to the days when letter writing was as much an art form as it was about communication. Choose your best pen, and your prettiest stationery, and pen a letter using the following prompt:

Describe your favorite hobby. How did you get started? Why did you choose it? How much time do you devote to your hobby? Why is this a good hobby for a person to have?

Each person will receive two partners for this swap. Please write a one-page letter following the prompt above. Write in your best cursive (if you can) or your best print. You may decorate your stationery and envelope if you wish, but it is not required. Just have fun and enjoy the process of writing and receiving a letter!

All are welcome to participate. Members with 1s or 3s will be able to participate after I speak with them -- I believe everyone should have a chance to redeem themselves! This is supposed to be fun, after all.
