Description:

OK - here's the deal. Take a plastic 2- liter bottle (like shown in picture). Wash and dry thoroughly. Take a pair of scissors and cut a sideways U shaped hole in the body of the bottle so that you create a flap. Now you can let the fun begin. Fill the bottle FULL of profile based goodies. These don't all have to be new but please don't send ANY junk. You can also handmake any of your items as well. I am going to put a price of $5 on it, so if you don't have nice things that you would like to receive that are profile related, you can go buy those items for your partner to put in bottle.

Some examples are if your partner likes fabric or sews, makes dotees, stuffies, send the actual item and/or the supplies you need to make one; if your partner likes to make atc's, send papers, collage items, lettering, ephemera; if your partner likes mushrooms, send or make a mushroom item; if your partner likes vintage, send some vintage items, etc etc. you get the idea,

One of the requirements, besides having a pristine swapping record will be a full profile that touches on a little bit of everything to give your partner alot of areas to get ideas of what to send you that you would appreciate. If you sign up and I don't feel your profile is "full" enough, I may ask you to add to it. We don't want to have your partner struggle to fulfill the swap.

The ratings for this swap will be based on you receiving the bottle on time and that it contains items related to your profile and not if you love them or not.

Once the bottle is full, tape the cap on and tape over the flap you cut. Place mailing label over the part of the bottle you cut and send off to your partner just like that. This is not an issue with the postal service, this has been done time and time again.

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

What a fun idea!!! So, should we completely wrap the bottle with heavy duty packaging paper and tape it up good before sending? It sounds like you're saying just to place the label over the cut part of the bottle and send, but I may not be understanding correctly.

Never heard of shipping a soda bottle, so don't want to mess up, lol. Putting in watch for now:)

There is no need to wrap the bottle, you are allowed to send it naked thru the mail. If you want to "line" the inside of the bottle with fabric or paper, etc. like the picture, you are more than welcome to do so.

Hope you join in on the fun!

Oh....I get it!!! Looking at the picture I thought the bottle was wrapped with paper, but it is lined inside!!! Cool idea!!! Such a neat idea!!! I'm definately in for this!!! Thanks for clearing this up for me @denise364 )))
